Painting images of cars and motorcycles has always been Ted Gadecki’s passion and expertise. The uniqueness of Ted’s work as an artist lies in his gift for depicting realism. The paintings come from Ted’s singular point of view. His striking use of perspective, and distinctive choice of composition pay homage to each vehicle’s color, curve and reflection, creating images that are charged with an awe inspiring, stunning beauty.

Ted has shown his paintings at Barritz Gallery in Portland, Oregon, and the Portland Historics, Portland International Raceway. His prints have been on view at the Christopher Bell Gallery in Monterey, California, and were exhibited at the The 29th Annual Rolex Monterey Historic Automobile Races, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, Salinas, California.

Ted was born, and grew up in Chicago, Illinois. He attended The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and received a BFA from Columbia College in Chicago.
He has worked as a commercial illustrator for over 20 years:
Ted lives, works, and paints in Portland, Oregon.
He is an avid motorcycle enthusiast.

Ted is also an avid Australian Cattle Dog enthusiast.
